Dubai is one of the 7 emirates of the U.A.E, located as you probably know in the Middle East. If you were to look at Dubai about more than 10 years ago, it wouldn't seem anything special...
But as displayed by the picture, Dubai has come to be quite futuristic in appearance...
Pictured above is the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world!
It's 2,716 feet, at 162 stories.
Here's a height comparison for ya:
Not only this, but Dubai is also planning to open amusement park, housing the world's fastest roller coaster, which will launch at 140mph! It's so fast, riders will have to wear safety goggles
Other buildings of extreme heights are being envisioned (meaning plans on HOW to build have been made, whether it will be built is controversial for the most part)
Check out the Dubai City Tower, which will be beyond 800 stories. Thats right, thats SEVEN TIMES the height of the Empire State building
